This versatile meter can be used for measuring the power levels of both visible and infra red laser beams, solar experiments plus demodulating audio optical signals. Battery power, portability and adjustable height makes the photometer very flexible. The photometer's reading is displayed on the digital LCD screen, the analogue output is fed to two banana sockets and is directly proportional to the light incident on the photodetector up to 10kHz, allowing it to be used to drive a chart recorder for solar monitoring, to a CRO for observing time dependent optical signals or to an amplifier and speaker for voice transmission. Uses 2 x 9 volt batteries (supplied).
