Vernier DTS Motion Encoder Kit Without Track
Order code: DTS-KIT-MECVERNIER DTS MOTION ENCODER KIT WITHOUT TRACK
Compatible with existing Vernier Combination Track/Optics Benches, the Vernier DTS Motion Encoder Kit features two low friction, plastic carts, an ultra pulley and all of the necessary attachment accessories.
The DTS Motion Encoder Cart and Receiver allows students to explore kinematics, dynamics, momentum and energy with the ease and precision of optical motion sensing. The Motion Encoder is an optical position sensing system that records cart motion and eliminates the need for a motion detector for cart-on-track activities.
The Vernier Combination Track/Optics Bench is NOT included with this Kit and can be purchased separately:
• The shorter Vernier 1.2m TRACK
• For larger experiments and demonstrations a 2.2m TRACK-LONG is available
• Vernier tracks can be joined with the T2T-VDS Track-to-Track Coupler which rigidly connects two tracks.
Or purchase a complete DTS Motion Encoder Cart System:
Vernier DTS-EC which is the DTS-KIT-MEC plus a 1.2m track.
Vernier DTS-EC-LONG with Long Track which is the DTS-KIT-MEC plus a 2.2m track.
Requirements:
This system requires suitable software and an interface such as one of the Vernier LabQuest variations.
