The very old style 'Rheostat' speed control with ceramic former 2,500 Ohms and 25W (modified to be open circuit at the 'motor off' end) for combination IEC Magnetic Stirrer/Hot Plates.
NOTE: For many years the speed control on an IEC Magnetic Stirrer has been electronic and normally these old resistive controls are replaced with the electronic type PA2090-007.
NOTE: This is a genuine IEC product.
