IEC WHEATSTONE BRIDGE 0.5m SLIDE WIRE
The IEC Wheatstone Bridge uses the balanced bridge method to calculate the value of an unknown resistance as a precise proportion of a known value resistance.
The sturdy 0.5m aluminium channel base comes complete with a knife edge Jockey for sliding along the Advance alloy graduated wire which has very close temperature and resistance stability.
The bridge has 2 gaps for external component connection. The terminals are IEC spin free head 4mm socket type so that banana plugs or wires can be used. The single terminal in the middle between the resistors connects a Galvanometer to the Jockey knife edge which is used to touch to the slide wire.
