VERNIER CART PICKET FENCE
The Vernier Cart Picket Fence consists of a piece of plastic with alternating clear and black stripes which can be used to interrupt the light beam in photogates.

It can be easily fitted to a Vernier Dynamics Cart, Collision Trolley, Air Track Glider, model car etc. When the Cart Picket Fence passes through a photogate, the velocity and acceleration as a function of time can be accurately measured.
