IEC Amplifier High Sensitivity

An amplifier for converting very small currents into larger current that can be read on a student meter. This amplifier has an extremely low input impedance and the gain is about 1000:1.
It will amplify at very low input voltages and is designed specially for the 'Electromagnetic Induction' apparatus EM1740-001. Effectively it will convert uA of current into mA for reading on a normal student meter.
It has a zero offset control for best accuracy and a gain control to change the amplification from low up to 1000:1.The unit has an internal 9V #216 dry cell and can be used for any signal amplification application.
