Vernier Conductivity Standard - High Range

For most applications Vernier conductivity probes do not need to be calibrated but if you choose to calibrate them, you will need accurate standard solutions. Vernier supplies 500ml bottles of three conductivity standards, one appropriate for each range of their conductivity probes.
This 12,880µS/cm standard is a good concentration to calibrate a Vernier conductivity probe
in the high range (0 to 20,000µS/cm or 0 to 10,000mg/L TDS).
Standards will last a long time if you take care not to contaminate them with a wet or dirty probe.
Alternatively, you can prepare your own solutions with the following recipes:
200µS/cm = 0.0905grams NaCl per litre of distilled water
2000µS/cm = 1.05g NaCl/L
20,000µS/cm = 11.53g NaCl/L
