IEC COLLISION IN 2 DIMENSIONS KIT
This simple device clamps to a bench and allows balls of different mass to collide at angles to calculate the laws of dynamics and mass. The point that the balls reach the floor is shown by carbon paper leaving a mark. A plumb bob from below the target ball to the floor provides the zero point on the floor for measurements of distances and angles.

A G-clamp, some sheets of carbon paper and a measuring tape are the only extra items required for performing experiments.

• Steel base with ball support device to clamp to a table
• Plastic track to curve and fit into steel base
• 2 steel balls 16mm diameter
• 1 glass ball 16mm diameter
• 2m plumb line to find position on floor directly below ball support
• Screw eye to hang from plumb line
