IEC GYROSCOPE ROTATING PLATFORM
The IEC Gyroscope Rotating Platform is designed for students to safely stand on while using the MF1890-001 IEC Gyroscope. Students gain an engaging and exciting hands-on experience in rotational dynamics. As the gyroscopic forces react on the student holding the gyroscope wheel, the student begins to rotate on the platform and can identify where the forces are working relative to the gyroscope itself.

The platform is strongly made with ball bearings that allow the surface to rotate freely with even a heavy student standing on it but the platform cannot spin dangerously.

Using a Gyroscope and the Gyroscope Rotating Platform you can give impressive demonstrations of:
• Gyroscopic precession
• Conservation of angular momentum
• Centripetal and centrifugal forces
