Electrostatic Tube
Order code: SC1066The Electrostatic Tube is used to teach Electrostatics in a fun and engaging way. A clear plastic tube contains lightweight beads. When the tube is rubbed with the supplied synthetic sleeve a charge is induced on the balls which then move crazily within the tube. Why does this happen as there is no physical contact with the beads?
Further experimentation is possible by bringing other charged materials like electrostatic rods close to the Electrostatic Tube.
A fun and engaging apparatus to show induced charges.
With instructions.
