This rocker switch is a high quality Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) switch with sockets for 4mm banana plugs.
It can switch up to 10A.
SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) means that only one circuit can be controlled and that the control is only ON and OFF to a second circuit. This is the simplest form of switch.
The circuits are printed clearly on the front panel.
IEC rocker switches are compact and strong for use in general electrical experiments and are a standard component part of the excellent and robust EM1763-001 IEC Electricity Teaching Kit.
