IEC Electricity Kit Magnetism Demo Round Coil

A component of the EM1763-001 IEC Electricity Kit, this round coil provides the field pattern of 2 conductors passing through a surface with current passing up in one and down in the other. This Magnetic Field Demonstrator consists of a round coil passing through a transparent base plate to carry current so the field shape through a round coil can be demonstrated.
By using plotting compasses on the base plate, the magnetic field formed around the coil can easily be seen and studied. Iron filings respond slightly but compasses are better.
NOTE: This is a genuine IEC product.
