A well made hand cranked dynamo that is ideal for experiments in energy transformation, electricity and gearing.
Wire two dynamos together to do energy experiments showing mechanical to electrical and electrical to mechanical energy, efficiency etc. Place a high current load across the output and observe that it is harder to turn the crank than when a low current load is connected.
Features:
• Rotating the handle generates up to 15 volts DC
• Power a motor or light a miniature light bulb
• If the handle is rotated clockwise, the red clip will be positive, the black clip will be negative.
• If the handle is rotated counter-clockwise current will flow in the opposite direction red will be (-) and black will be (+)
