Vernier Pressure Sensor 400
Order code: PS400-BTAVERNIER PRESSURE SENSOR 400
The Vernier Pressure Sensor 400 is the optimal sensor for conducting physical and analytical chemistry experiments such as approximating the adiabatic expansion of a gas, Charles’ law experiments and ideal gas law investigations. It measures absolute pressures from 0 to 400kPa and operates with excellent accuracy over a wide temperature range. The robust metal fittings allow for a tight, leakproof seal to your reaction apparatus.
Requirements:
This sensor requires suitable software and an interface such as one of the Vernier LabQuest variations or Vernier Go-Link.
For comprehensive details of the possible sensor/interface/software combinations see the Compatibility Guide link below.
Included:
• Vernier Pressure Sensor 400
• Accessories kit of
Double-barb brass connector to fit flexible tubing
Nickel plated brass push-to-connect Connector to fit more rigid tubing
60cm section of nylon tubing
60cm section of plastic tubing
Tightening wrenches and plumber’s tape to ensure a tight seal
Specifications:
• Range: 0–400kPa
• Sensing element: Honeywell PX2 Series
• Accuracy using factory calibration: ±2kPa
• Accuracy using custom calibration: ±1kPa (1 point calibration at atmosphere)
• Temperature range: –40°C to 125°C
• Max pressure without damage: 800kPa
