VERNIER FORCE PLATE
About the size of a bathroom scale, the Vernier Force Plate has been designed for much higher forces than their DFS-BTA Dual-Range Force Sensor. The Force Plate can measure the forces developed during stepping, jumping and other human-scale actions.

With the Vernier Force Plate your students can:
• Observe the change in normal force during an elevator ride
• Measure the impulse delivered by the floor during a jump
• Measure the reaction force as a student leans against a wall

Supplied with two handles which are ideal for pushing experiments.
FP-HAN pairs of spare handles are available.

Requirements:
This sensor requires suitable software and an interface such as one of the Vernier LabQuest variations or Vernier Go-Link.
