Vernier Projectile Time of Flight Pad

VERNIER TIME OF FLIGHT PAD
Vernier's Time of Flight Pad is used with the VPL Vernier Projectile Launcher or the GDX-PL Vernier Go Direct Projectile Launcher to determine the launch speed of a projectile along with the time the projectile is in flight.
Precisely measuring how long a projectile has been in motion allows students to see how kinematic calculations work in real-world applications.
The Time of Flight Pad is electrically like a photogate. When a projectile strikes the foam top surface of the pad a circuit is closed and timing information can be recorded by an interface and software.
Requirements:
This sensor requires suitable software and an interface such as one of the Vernier LabQuest variations.
